This little corner of my website is where I get to step outside of the pages for a minute and actually talk to you—the readers who enter these worlds, meet these characters, get attached to them, yell at them, root for them, and sometimes question why I put y’all through so much in the first place.

And trust me, there is plenty to talk about.

The JaiyahVerse is bigger than one book, one series, or even one genre.

It is the home of every world I create as Jaiyah Symone.

Some doors will lead you into neighborhoods filled with secrets, betrayal, love, murder, and people who definitely should have minded their business.

Others might lead you somewhere completely different—into hidden histories, magical bloodlines, powerful academies, forgotten worlds, and things that were never supposed to be discovered.

That is one of my favorite things about being a writer. I don't have to stay in one box.

I can give you mystery.

I can give you urban fiction.

I can give you thrillers.

I can turn around and build an entire fantasy world.

No matter where we go, though, I want my stories to feel like something. I want characters who feel like real people. I want secrets that make you start questioning everybody. I want worlds you can picture yourself standing in. And I definitely want at least one moment where you have to put the book down and say, "Now why would she do this?!"

That's the JaiyahVerse.

If you've already read Black Ivy Circle, you've gotten a taste of the darker side of my writing.

But that is only one part of it.

The Shadow District is where my darker stories live—the mysteries, thrillers, crime, secrets, complicated relationships, questionable decisions, and the characters who may or may not make it out of the story the same way they entered it.

Then there's the Enchanted Realm, where things get a little more magical.

That's where you'll find my fantasy worlds, including stories filled with magic, ancestry, hidden power, academies, history, and characters discovering that the world—and sometimes even their own identity—is much bigger than they were taught to believe.

Two completely different sides of my imagination.

Same author.

Same universe.

And plenty more coming.

The JaiyahVerse Journal is where I'm pulling back the curtain.

Sometimes we'll talk about the inspiration behind a book or character. Sometimes I'll take you deeper into one of my fictional worlds. There will be sneak peeks, book updates, character spotlights, behind-the-scenes thoughts, reading recommendations, author diaries, and probably a few things that never made it into the final version of a story.

I also want this to be where you get to know the person behind the books a little more.

Writing can look very polished once you see the finished book sitting on a shelf, but getting there?

Baby. 😂

There are changed plots, deleted chapters, characters who suddenly decide they're more important than I planned, ideas that come at the absolute worst time, and entire storylines that can change because of one random thought.

I want to talk about that part too.

Basically, if you've ever finished one of my books and wished you could ask, "Okay Jaiyah, but WHY did you do that?"

This is probably where we're going to talk about it.

The JaiyahVerse is still growing.

There are stories you've already met, stories I'm currently building, and entire worlds that are still sitting inside my head waiting for their turn.

And now, instead of only seeing them once they're finished, you'll get to come along for some of the journey.

So look around. Explore the worlds. Meet the characters. Read the Journal. And most importantly, join the community.

Because the JaiyahVerse isn't supposed to be something I build alone.

The stories may start with me, but once you enter the Verse?

You're part of it too.
